Colour scheme

After a questionnaire I have chosen the name 'Unplugged' for my magazine and the colour scheme of Orange, Black and White

Editing

I have tried to use Adobe Photoshop to edit my pictures from the gig, but the quality of the pictures has effected the quality of the editing, from the pictures I took I could only get 2 or 3 images to look moderately professional

Because I could not get this to work how I wanted I have took a photo of a 'band' and am going to use these photos for my magazine.

Music Photography

I went to a gig last night and took some pictures there in hope to use them as a part of my music magazine, with careful editing I hope to make them a high quality standard suitable for my magazine. Here are a selection of the pictures I may use.

Progress

Recently I have been working on my scrapbook, I have been showing how I went through the process of learning about Magazines and creating different things for them. Soon I will begin working on my Music Magazine.

For my Music magazine I am going to base it around the 'Rock' Genre of music as this is my favourite and means a lot to me. I also feel more confident as I read a lot of 'Rock' style magazines such as Rocksound, Kerrang and NME, therefore I have good knowledge in how they get across to there audience.
After evaluating my previous work I decided that I should use more advanced software to give my Magazine a proffesional look. I have decided that I am going to use Adobe Photoshop CS5 to edit the pictures to enhance them and QuarkXPress to create the actual magazine.

Contents Page

This is my finished Contents page for my college magazine, I think there could be a lot of improvement made in this to make it more professional looking. I will take this into account when making my Music magazine. The text is very hard to read even though it was attempted to fit with the colour scheme and house style of the magazine

Editing Software

For the creation of my college magazine I am going to use Microsoft Publisher. I am going to use this to create the magazine front cover and contents page on.
